Site Description:This is a rare opportunity to visit the Saucito Rock, which is a part of a National Register of Historic Places archaeological district, and normally closed. Nearby Painted Rock is closed at this time of year due to nesting falcons. Saucito has similar pictographs as Painted Rock and the site is in much closer to pristine condition than Painted Rock. Difficulty: Moderate Vehicle Requirement: Any Driving Time: 2 and ½ hours Distance (One Way): 130 miles Max Number of Participants: 20
