How DO I Log Into The Website? Why Should I Bother?

All of the pages on the website can be viewed without logging into the site. So, if you are just browsing, you don't need to log in. However, if you want to manage your personal information (email, address, phone, etc.), renew your membership, or if you want to register for the annual conference you need to log into the site.

You will know if you are logged into the site if you see your name in the top right hand corner of each page. If you don't see your name and you just see the "LOGIN" button, then you need to click the "LOGIN" button to log in. This will open a new page where you can log in with a Facebook or Google ID, or simply enter your email and password that you use for ARARA. You will know when your login has been successful because your name will appear in the top right corner of the site pages.

What Do I Do When I Have Forgotten My Password?

If you have tried to login following the instructions above and have forgotten your password then you can click on the "Forgot Password" password link to the right of the LOGIN button on the bottom of the login page. This will send a new password to your email address. It can sometimes take a few minutes for the email to arrive. Then use this new password to log into your account.

How Do I Edit My Personal Information?

If you have moved or your phone or email information has changed you can edit your personal information by logging into the website following the instructions above. (Note that if your email has changed use the email address that was associated with ARARA and then change it after you log in.) Once you can see your name at the top of the page, click on your name and then click the "Edit Profile" button. Once you have finished changing your personal information click the "Save" button.

How Do I Change My Password?

If you want to change your password, first log into the website following the instructions above using your existing password. Once you can see your name at the top of the screen, click on the "Change Password" link at the top of the screen beside your name and follow the instructions.

Smart phones

On a smart phone the site does some "shorthand" to deal with the smaller screen space. The menu shows up when you click on the three horizontal lines in the top left. The login option shows up when you click on the right arrow in the top right.

Once  you have logged in you can edit your personal information or renew your membership by clicking on the "View profile" link or change your password by clicking on that link. Both are found by clicking on the white figure of a person which will be visible when you log in.
